Miscellaneous Projects

This page serves as an exposition of various projects I worked on across several courses. The courses include Managerial Economics, Financial Management and Budgeting and Supply Chain Management.

For this project, I was charged with looking into a major company's supply chain to determine if the investment firm I worked for should invest a upwards of $100 million in U.S. Steel over the course of the next 5 years. I used the supply chain analytics skills and economic analysis skills I gained across several courses to make an educated decision.

Similar to the previous project, this assignment tasked me with looking into financial statements and other EDGAR reports to decide whether Ford (F) or Microsoft (MSFT) would be a more lucrative investment for the average investor. While the U.S. Steel recommendation was more focused on using supply chain concepts and economic analysis to make a decision that controlled a large sum of money, this report focused more on financial statements and other SEC filings to make a decision more specifically tailored to the individual investor.

This project essentially served as the final exam for my Financial Management and Budgeting Course. This report catalogues a wealth of secondary research I conducted throughout the semester concerning everything from critical macroeconomic indicators, to relevant fiscal and monetary policy to COVID-19's impact on all of the above. This was a group assignment, so I highlighted the portion of the report that I was responsible for.
